Request Free Books!
Read Aloud Nebraska has brand new books to share with children across the state! As Read Aloud Schools and Communities we'd like your help in getting these books into the hands of children.

The books are intended to go directly to children, not into a library or institution collection.
At least 80% of the children must be from low-income families.

Books will not be shipped. They can be picked up at:
1) The Plum Creek Literacy Festival in Seward, Oct. 8-9
2) The NLA/NEMA Annual Conference in Grand Island, Oct. 13-15
3) ESU 13 or 15, after Nov. 2
4) The Seward Memorial Library
or other arrangements must be made.

The deadline to submit requests is October 1, 2010. Another opportunity to apply for free books will be available starting in 2011. There is no guarantee that you will receive the books you have requested.

Each Read Aloud School or Community may receive books only one time per calendar year.
