Examples of "Communities" include:
Cities, Towns, Villages, Community Centers, Libraries, Churches, and Neighborhoods.

Designation as a Read Aloud "Community”
in the first year entitles you to the following:
- Recognition as a Read Aloud "Community” on the RAN website
- Press release and other PR materials
- Certificate signed by the Governor
- Communication regarding reading activities/updates in Nebraska
- Opportunity to promote read aloud events through the RAN website
- Placement in a drawing for a Read Aloud Party in your community during Read Aloud to a Child Month in November
- "I Play For Nebraska" books (amount to be determined)
