Designation as a Read Aloud School emphasizes your building's commitment to the importance of reading aloud to students.

Designation as a "Read Aloud School" in the first year entitles you to the following:

• Recognition as a "Read Aloud School" on RAN website
• Press release and other PR materials
• Certificate signed by the Governor
• Communication regarding reading activities/updates in Nebraska
• Opportunity to promote read aloud events through the RAN website
• Placement in a drawing for a Read Aloud Party in your community during Read Aloud to a Child Month in November
• Opportunity to request free books for children in your school

Annual renewal includes:

• Eligibility to apply for annual RAN mini-grants
